Helios

The sunflowers at home have already started to “go over”. Perhaps it’s the sea air that keeps this one going.

Breath

I took loads of photos yesterday. It was such a freeing feeling, just having the time to take as many shots as I wanted.

And I just have to post more than one today.

Summer wind

The branches insisted shifting in the breeze, so I don’t think this is the shot I imagined it would be.

A special day today. Go and wish Barbara at BSouth a Happy Happy Birthday.

My Sister’s Favourite Colour is Lilac

A family visit yesterday to celebrate eldest nephew’s birthday. At 14 years old he is already as tall as me (five foot 8 inches).

This lilac tree was in the garden when my sister and her husband moved to the house over 16 years ago. Like our nephew, it has grown quite considerably.

Blue Skies

Sadly, it was rain, rain, rain today, so it’s nice to look at this and remember.

Old Friend

I have been hit by stealth flu. Yesterday morning I was fine, although my tummy felt a bit strange. By 6 pm last evening I was wearing three layers, including a jumper and a fleece, with a blanket over my knees, sat pressed up next to the heater.

After much sleep today, I managed to get out into the back garden to take a shot of one of my favourite trees that stands in the back garden of one of the houses that backs on to us, we’re separated by the railway/tram line that runs between the gardens.
