The sunflowers at home have already started to “go over”. Perhaps it’s the sea air that keeps this one going.
I took loads of photos yesterday. It was such a freeing feeling, just having the time to take as many shots as I wanted.
And I just have to post more than one today.
The branches insisted shifting in the breeze, so I don’t think this is the shot I imagined it would be.

A family visit yesterday to celebrate eldest nephew’s birthday. At 14 years old he is already as tall as me (five foot 8 inches).
This lilac tree was in the garden when my sister and her husband moved to the house over 16 years ago. Like our nephew, it has grown quite considerably.
I have been hit by stealth flu. Yesterday morning I was fine, although my tummy felt a bit strange. By 6 pm last evening I was wearing three layers, including a jumper and a fleece, with a blanket over my knees, sat pressed up next to the heater.
After much sleep today, I managed to get out into the back garden to take a shot of one of my favourite trees that stands in the back garden of one of the houses that backs on to us, we’re separated by the railway/tram line that runs between the gardens.
