We are still all twinkling lights and Christmas pudding here. We tend not to take down the decorations until Twelfth Night. It’s no great tradition, more of another example of our family’s last-minutemess.
We pulled a few tail-end Christmas crackers last night too, and a sorry excuse for a mini spinning top fell out. It wouldn’t be Christmas without one of these.
The operation went well and the patient is now fully recovered, after approx 3 hours under the, er, spanner (wrench).
I, however, suspect that I might be coming down with flu. Bleah! But at least I’m warm, in a shivery sort of way . . .
