A Pause

I was at a conference this weekend. I took my laptop, intending to put up a post via the hotel’s internet access. But by the time the dancing had finished at 12.30 midnight by the time we had finished discussing the important matters of the day, I wasn’t really up to getting to grips with the hotel’s internet connection, so I fell into bed instead (not literally).

This picture was taken on my journey into Central London. My connecting train was cancelled, so I took the opportunity to capture the shadows at the beginning of the day.

A Hint of Candyfloss

I do wonder if my post titles are being affected by one of my current activities, which is buying tester paint-pots to try out on the walls of our newly-refurbished bathroom: mellow sage, couscous, noodle, jersey cream (other shades are available).

This is quite different picture to many of those that I post of Jenny. It doesn’t show anything of her humour that is so much part of our lives.

Bathroom

Whilst we were away, we had our bathroom refitted. We moved the glass-fronted bathroom cabinet out into a neighbouring room, but somehow the glass shattered, leaving a pile of safety glass on the carpet. We need to replace the cabinet; for now it acts a makeshift stand for toothpaste and other bits.
