Hubby took a day off work so that we could do something as a whole family during the half-term holiday week. Earlier in the week, the weather had promised to be sunny but in fact the sun was hidden behind a solid layer of cloud all day and the light was flat.
Despite the unfavourable weather, the fact that the place we planned to visit wasn’t open and despite the fact we ended up eating quite late (which always puts me in a grouchy mood, because my blood-sugars plummet), we ended up having a good time and there were plenty of opportunities for snapping a photo.
